Tread Separation Risk Prompts Recall by BF Goodrich and Uniroyal by Tire Defect and Injury Lawyers Hill Law Firm
The Tire Detread and Delamination Injury Attorneys at Hill Law Firm have spent many years prosecuting cases against the major tire manufacturers for defective tires that lead to the injury or death of unsuspecting consumers. Many people do not even know that a tire tread can separate from the rest of the tire causing or contributing to the cause of an accident. When these tire “detreads” or “delaminations” occur, the ability to control a vehicle is seriously diminished. Recently, Michelin entities, BF Goodrich and Uniroyal issued a recall of the following tires:
- BF GOODRICH / COMMERCIAL T/A A/S / LT 235/85R16 120 Q LRE
- BF GOODRICH / COMMERCIAL T/A A/S / LT 245/75R16 120 Q LRE
- UNIROYAL / LAREDO HD/H / LT 235/85R16 120 Q LRE
- UNIROYAL / LAREDO HD/H / LT 245/75R16 120 Q LRE
The recall goes on to state that BF Goodrich Commercial and Uniroyal Laredo tires are being recalled in sizes LT235/85R16 120 Q with the load range E and size LT245/75R16 120 Q with the load range E. Due to defects in the tire, these tires have the possibility of developing a tread/belt edge separation. These separations can lead to the loss of control and accidents.
If you own these tires, follow this recall and have them changed out immediately. If you know someone who has been injured or killed by an accident involving a failed tire, please have them contact the experienced Texas Tire Defect and Tread Separation Attorneys at Hill Law Firm today.
